Finally, it has happened. Relax, everybody. We can all breathe easier, because Wayne Rooney has a racehorse. One he’s given it a fantastic name (if it’s actually his doing). Oh, and it has a Twitter account. Yahtzee!
Because it’s the type of news that definitely needs confirmation, Wayne tweeted the stunning development.
Which was great enough by itself – but then we learned of Switcharooney’s dedicated twitter account, where he introduces himself.
So now you can follow Switcharooney on twitter to find out when he’ll be running a race. But why stop there? Why shouldn’t Switcharooney use Twitter to moan about his contract and talk about how he might have to go across town to run races for Garreth Barry (though, “Switchabarry” doesn’t work as well)? Or use it to threaten fans? Or to share photos when he needs that inevitable mane-replacement treatment?
I can’t think of a better use of social media.
