Every year, without fail, a team manages to win the MLS Cup, although that theory has yet to undergo the scrutiny of a New York/New England final. And for the lucky team, that trophy comes all the associated wealth, fame, and little stars above your crest. And also the right to play your home games with the silver ball to denote that you’re the current big man on campus.
