It’s no secret that certain KCKRS writers (okay, me) have full-on mancrushes on Brek Shea. He’s refreshingly unique, humble, and one of the most talented young Americans we’ve seen in a while. And he’s even able to make getting his hair dyed seem interesting.

We’ve always wondered how exactly Brek goes about planning his hairstyle, but the sentence he utters early in the video, “I’m walking in and i have no idea what I’m gonna do” explains it pretty well.

But the best quote has to be this one from his hairstylist: ”You don’t get many people that come in and say ‘I want a fauxhawk/mohawk​/mullet with a stripe down the side.’”

We call that a “Brekhawk,” and we want one. To top it off, Brek shows up for Dallas’s home opener in a sweater that matches his new purple hairdo and a bowtie. And he’s driving his baby, the so-called “Yellow Rose of Breksas.” So called because we called it that.
