The in-game coach interview is one of many individual banes of my particular existence. They’re insipid and unnecessary. The rarely provide insight. They disrespect the game in-progress just a few feet away by distracting the coach from doing his job. When the interviewee is bombastic Scotsman John Spencer and his team scores in the middle of the interview, however, I’m a little less annoyed.
But since goals during the interview are so rare, the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
