I usually have an aversion to white kits. They can look plain, or like the team is trying too hard to be Real Madrid. But the Timbers and adidas got this one exactly right. It’s a refreshingly clean design, with just enough color and accent (collars are always a plus) to make it interesting, and it’s a subtle nod to the Rose City’s storied soccer history.
In addition to the regular shirt, the Timbers are also offering a limited edition box set, featuring a unique scarf. 2,012 sets will be produced. Also cool? All the materials are recycled, and they’re all made in Portland.
