Italian Boot Maker Pantofola D’oro Makes A Move Stateside

Eugene Kan, May 11, 2012

Buttery soft leather and old school design is what many people associate with Italian boot maker Pantofola D’oro. The brand has its roots dating back to 1886 and began as the Lazzarini Cobbler Shop in Ascoli Piceno, Italy. While the brand has fallen off a bit in recent times, Pantofola D’oro has made the move to bring the brand to the United States. While we hope the one example here and its Jersey Shore-esque design is simply a bad jump-off, the design is still rooted in its calf leather components that has been in use in the 1940s.
