Quick, what’s the first thing you think of when you think of Swedish soccer at the 1948 Olympics? That’s right, you don’t know anything about it. Well, they actually won gold, and it’s apparently still kind of a big deal in Sweden.

This wine, produced in Italy (Sweden being a bit behind in the “fine wine” stakes) pays tribute to the Swedish trio of Gunnar Gren, Gunnar Nordahl, and Nils Liedholm, who led Sweden to Olympic gold and inspired AC Milan to the 1950-51 Serie A title.
