50 Cent wants to go into business with Wayne Rooney*. This is because: 1) According 50, Wayne is all about making money 2) European soccer is big business and 3) The possibilities are endless. 50/Fifty/Fiddy says he and Wayne, in part because Wayne is such a “brand”, could make $1 billion together (that’s fifty cents times two billion).
“I’m a big fan of Wayne Rooney, he’s a brand. I want to become business partners with him. European soccer is a big business and there’s money to be made with top players.
“I’ve met Wayne and he’s a great guy. He’s one of the top soccer players in the world and has a lot of years left in his career.”
50/Fifty/Fiddy sees a future business partnership including clothes, restaurants, nightclubs, maybe some sort of Wayne Rooney chia pet, a 50 Cent and Wayne Rooney Versus Alien pinball game, a line of decorative soaps, and more. It’s possible I just made up everything after “nightclubs.”
Decorative soaps or not, 50/Fifty/Fiddy sees the partnership generating buckets of cash. Like a billion dollars worth. Clearly, 50/Fifty/Fiddy is a big fan of The Social Network, the film about the rise of Facebook starring Justin Timberlake.
“Making millions is cool, but making a billion is better, and Wayne knows it!”
Yeah, what he said. And somehow, 50/Fifty/Fiddy knows that Wayne is down for making a billion.
“I am all about making money and I know my man Wayne is as well.”
Actually, this is hard to deny. Wayne did do that whole “I’m not signing and I’m leaving United forever” thing before ultimately getting a new five-year deal worth the gross domestic product of Nepal (approximately). So maybe 50/Fifty/Fiddy knows what’s up.
If the rapper gets his way, he’ll be able to talk over his plans for global decorative soap domination with Rooney when Roo and fam visit 50/Fifty/Fiddy in Miami. 50/Fifty/Fiddy has invited Wayne, Colleen and the kids to take a vacation at his place when Euro 2012 is over.
